Being a little over an hour from Cherokee now, we have decided to ride the BRP from Asheville to Cherokee this year for the rally. Leave out of Asheville early around milepost #400 and end up in Cherokee milepost #469. Figure a good 5 hours ride...stops for views and breakfast somewhere along the route. After another cup of joe, and and few moments with the OL, headed back out for round tw... Read More
After nearly 2 weeks of running back and forth from Concord to Asheville trying to get everything moved, me and LHC decided this Sunday morning to forget about moving and fire the scoots up and head over to Chimney Rock via the back roads from Asheville. Needless to say, there wasn't a straight road to be found anywhere, curves, curves, and more curves, two lane road, little to no traffic, cool breeze and mountains everywhere around us. Although it did heat up a little bit once we got to Chim... Read More
